Uniform Inventory Management
The InvoTech .Net Uniform System manages the entire uniform inventory and the lifecycle of each individual garment from purchasing through daily use to final discard. The RFID technology works by electronically reading RFID tags attached to the uniforms, allowing them to be automatically identified, counted and tracked. The system also records who is responsible for each uniform, monitors inventory levels, and keeps the current location of each garment.
The InvoTech .Net Uniform System will enable your business to best manage uniform inventory levels, employee uniform assignments, process daily pick-up of uniforms, control the quantity of garments each employee is allowed to have, and track employee responsibility and uniform losses. The system accurately records laundry activity to eliminate losses and overcharges, tracks rental garments and customer-owned uniforms, monitors uniform usage and aging to maintain quality standards and forecast purchases. Finally, the system records uniform repairs and alterations, sales to employees, and locker and conveyor assignments.

RFID Technology
InvoTech integrates the latest RFID technology to most efficiently enable 100% control of the uniform inventory while it eliminates the need to sort, hand count or individually scan items. The easy-to-use system streamlines daily processes and lets operators instantly identify and record hundreds of uniforms in seconds with the RFID technology. The InvoTech Uniform System with RFID technology eliminates manual tasks and human error, gives operators total control, and makes accurate information always available. The System provides real-time information on exactly what transpired with every read – what type of transaction, and where and when it occurred.
RFID Tags
The RFID tags are attached to all uniforms to uniquely identify each individual uniform piece. The RFID tags have a read range of up to 6 feet from the RFID equipment with 100% accuracy. The RFID tags withstand all laundry processes for at least 200 wash cycles, including washing, drying, and pressing, and even the most rigorous laundry requirements such as sterilization and high-pressure water extractors. InvoTech provides RFID tags pre-inserted into fabric pouches to be easily sewn to the uniforms or heat-sealable RFID tags can be provided. RFID tags are often provided to the uniform suppliers to be attached during the uniform manufacturing process.
RFID Equipment
InvoTech provides the appropriate RFID equipment based on each customer’s unique environment and operational requirements. InvoTech also assist with determining the appropriate location for the RFID equipment to be installed for most efficiently processing the various system features. The RFID equipment is configured by the InvoTech software for optimum performance and accuracy.

Portable Handheld RFID Readers
InvoTech provides Portable Handheld RFID Readers for flexible and accurate uniform inventory tracking. The Portable Handheld RFID Reader uses InvoTech Mobile Software to save time and increase productivity in processing uniforms. The Portable Handheld RFID Reader is primarily used for tracking laundry activity and taking a physical inventory, but the portable device may also be used for adding and deleting uniform inventory. The wireless capability is especially useful to the healthcare industry when processing contaminated uniforms. The handheld reader communicates directly with the central InvoTech database via Wi-Fi and wirelessly transmits its data for instant updates. If Wi-Fi is not available, the handheld reader may be used in “batch-mode” and the data is then later downloaded to the InvoTech database.
The InvoTech Uniform System integrates electronic signature technology for recording employee signatures to establish accountability for uniform assignments and sales. The System is paperless and reports can be viewed on the screen or generated to file format (Excel or PDF), which can be easily emailed. Reports may also be scheduled to be automatically emailed. Of course, reports may also be printed if needed, and the reports include the electronic signature.
The InvoTech Uniform System can be used in various languages, including English, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Vietnamese to meet the needs of our international clientele. The system automatically opens in the preferred language of each system user based on their user login. Additional languages can be added if needed.
Human Resources Interface
The InvoTech Uniform System interfaces with the Human Resources system to automatically update the InvoTech Uniform System with new employees, changes to employee details, and terminated employees. The InvoTech Human Resources Interface enables more efficient processes and ensures accuracy of the employee information. The InvoTech Human Resources Interface is an optional system feature.
InvoTech Laundry Interface
The InvoTech Uniform System interfaces with the InvoTech Laundry System to enable the laundry operations to also benefit from the RFID tags in the uniforms. Information is shared between the systems to provide complete inventory tracking through the laundry process and to eliminate discrepancies and disputes with the laundry.
Automated Conveyor Systems Interface
The InvoTech Uniform System interfaces with the highest quality and most widely-used uniform conveyor systems for automatically delivering uniforms to employees. InvoTech provides employee and uniform details to the automated conveyors to know which uniforms are assigned to each employee. The RFID equipment on the automated conveyors update the InvoTech Uniform System to know which uniforms were picked-up and returned by the employees. The automated conveyor systems provide additional cost saving benefits to the savings already provided by the InvoTech Uniform System.

The InvoTech Uniform Cloud Product provides comprehensive uniform tracking functionality and reporting. The product will facilitate daily tracking operations through cloud-based RFID-enabled mobile handheld devices. System reporting and data administration will be accomplished via a cloud-based web portal that can be accessed securely anywhere, anytime. The system has been designed to be easy to use and simple to install. Once the system organizational elements are configured through the web portal, and the RFID mobile devices are in hand, you are ready to begin more productive and efficient uniform operations!
Daily Operations
All item-level tracking and scanning operations for inventory will be done via a Wi-Fi-connected RFID mobile device. The systems operational modules include Laundry, Employee, Inventory, and Tools. RFID-enabled inventory items will be scanned and data sent to the cloud database, where it can be reported on. In case of network loss, scanning events will be buffered and re-synchronized when connectivity is restored.
