SAMS™ Guest Services System controls guest baggage, storage room activities and pick-up and delivery of luggage to guests. SAMS™ automates the bell desk operations at hotels and conference centers and streamlines the entire process of storing and retrieving guest items. |
SAMS™ utilizes specially printed barcode stickers to track every item entering or leaving the various luggage storage areas located on property. Each article is identified as belonging to a particular guest and, if applicable, part of the set of items checked-in by the guest. |
| SAMS™ Guest Services can quickly locate stored luggage for any guest. When items are checked-in, they can be assigned a storage location for easy retrieval. Guests are presented a barcoded receipt that is used to check-out their items from storage. SAMS™ also monitors and controls the delivery of check-baggage to guest rooms upon arrival and guest vehicles at departure. All activities are date-and-time stamped and are saved along with the person who performed the task. SAMS™ maintains a paperless audit trail that eliminates disputes. Management reports present a clear picture of all activities even including information on any unclaimed items in storage. |
