InvoTech’s commitment to being a premier service provider includes periodic software and equipment improvements. Generally, each System is enhanced annually. Ideas for many of the new features stemmed directly from our clients. Please note that all the most recent versions of our systems can be downloaded by logging in as a Member.

*GIMS™ Uniform System*
Version 7.89 contained numerous enhancements: Autovalet Interface – Interface now generates temporary barcode for RFID chipped items for synchronizing with the URMA legacy system. Report Scheduler – Ability to automatically email GIMS™ information at pre-determined times to managers and administrators in other departments RFID Enhancements – Added list grids showing recent items processed and fully integrated TCP/IP readers to specify function and parameters for up to four separate antennas or drop chutes Non-Tagged Items – Can now select non-tagged items from a list in addition to entering a unique six-digit number Report Processing – Improved GIMS™ report generator for faster reports Hand-Held Terminals – Ability to identify user who performed hand-held functions Employee Measurements – Can now maintain detailed measurements for all employees Multi-Property Version – Enhanced several features of GIMS™ Multi-Property system including several new report filters, employee transfers and merging garment definitions across properties Laundry Interface – Enhanced the interface between GIMS™ Uniform System and GIMS™ Laundry System to allow for secure FTP transfer of information UHF Handheld support – GIMS now supports the MC3090-Z for UHF properties. *SAMS™ Security System*
Version 5.7 focused on three modules and a number of behind the scenes improvements: Incidents Reports – Added the ability to add multiple guests, visitors and employees and have the date/time recorded when capturing signatures Banned Guests – Can now ban a guest from Visitors Logs Key/Inventory Tracker – Can issue multiple items to an employee without rescanning ID card
*GIMS™ Linen System*
The principal enhancements of Version 1.3 included: Transfer Function – Transferring non-tagged items automatically prompts a dialog box to enter quantities; multiple transfers of the same item(s) to the same location(s) are ignored; all relevant cleaning transactions are automatically closed when items are transferred Non-Tagged Items – Can now select non-tagged items from a list in addition to entering a unique six-digit number Inventory Lookup – Ability to search for inventory items by location
*GIMS™ Laundry System*
Version 1.5 included: Report Formatting – Improved formatting for all the most popular printers Laundry Interface – Enhanced the interface between GIMS™ Laundry System and both the GIMS™ Uniform System and Linen System to allow for secure FTP transfer of information Billing Report – Improved the Billing Report to include unit cost and provided better sorting capability
