Grand Openings

Grand Openings present unique challenges for hotel operations. Uniform and linen departments, in particular, face a number of issues that occur only during the pre-opening process. InvoTech provides special services and expertise to achieve an orderly opening and the tools necessary to maintain control and prevent losses during the hectic weeks and days prior to opening. |
Uniform operations must process ALL employees individually and assign an appropriate number of garments specific to their jobs. Those garments must be properly fitted (and altered as necessary), identified and then stored for later retrieval by the specific employee. This task is made more difficult by a high number job changes during the opening and a higher than normal turnover rate. |

Linen operations must fully stock all storerooms on property with the appropriate number of specific linen items and assure that sufficient supply of room linen is available for each guest room and table linen for each restaurant. |
GIMS™ System Control |
| The GIMS™ systems provide total control of all activities. Inventory levels are known and the location of and responsibility for all items is maintained by GIMS™. This information prevents losses and reduces the time and labor required to open the property. |
